I haven't fallen down in days. That may not seem like much, but my God, it's such an accomplishment. Being made to stand and kneel repeatedly while he performs his rituals is exhausting and I'm pretty sure that the welts on the bottom of my feet are ready to pop. My knees. They're bruised, covered in dry blood and cuts; but I won't fall down. I can't fall down; that means he wins again and I get put down in the oubliette. Being in the dark never scared me, being alone was something I used to cherish until he took me. I just want to find the light now. I want to find the warm place that he tells me so much about; the place where he says all of this pain will make sense. I won't fall down again. I can't. Not before I find my peace in the light. I have to do it soon because I'm not sure how much more I can take. Miserere mei sunt.
Why not move on over to Amazon and pick up a copy of her book Inferno now!

Twenty Elders came to their rescue. Twenty cities across the world were established. Twenty cities across the world were safe. Twenty cities middle children went to Nirvana. In a world enveloped in darkness, where demons surround every inch of the globe. Twenty safe Zones have been set up and are protected by the Lord, and his Elders. Each year one Zone sends out their next generation of Middle Born Children to reach Nirvana and spend the rest of their lives with the Lord. Only once outside the Zone, they are left to wonder if faith alone is enough to protect them from the darkness of the world.

My Withered Lover by Sian B. Claven
I long for you,
Please don't die.
Begin to laugh,
and cease to cry.
My withered lover,
Remember the morn we met.
The Noon we kissed.
The night we wed.
My withered Lover,
Remember our sweet.
Our daughters curls,
So bright and petite.
My withered lover,
Remember our child.
His gentlemanly nature,
So tender and kind.
My withered lover,
Remember this day.
For my love still loves you,
though you wither away.
That's it for this month nightmares.
Look out for our December Newsletter which include a sneak peak at what you can look forward to being released next year - including a few things that might not be horror. So if you're a fan of other genres stay tuned!
